FAA Appreciation Gathering – April 11 from 11 to 3pm – During the Federal Shutdown, FAA workers continued to do their job to keep flights, passengers and pilots safe.  FAA workers keep you safe everyday when you are traveling by air.  Particularly, we want to thank the KNEW FAA personnel because they are participants with the Big Easy Wing Kaydet Educational Program. As part of our curriculum, students and their  guardians visit the tower to learn about the job and skill requirements. Thus, we want to show them how much we appreciate them  as well as the pilots, aviation enthusiasts and everyday people.  Help us do this by becoming a sponsor for this event

Think about coming an aircraft sponosor.  We are responsible for a 1943 Stearman.  It is expensive keeping this aircraft in top shape for flying.  We need your support so that we can continue impleminting the CAF mission- to educate, honor and inspire through flight and living history experiences, primarily focusing on preserving WW2 era combat aircraft in flying conditions.

Becoming a member puts you where the action is-close to the aircraft. You will help maintain the aircraft and educate the public about WWII history.  There are 3 level of membership: full-$50, active military-$25, cadet (13-23)-$10.  If interested JOIN Us
