What a day! It was a great first day for the Big Easy Wing officers and members to greet the public. Our booth was in a prime spot, next to Sonny’s T-6G Texan.
Two of our members, Erin and Shirley, had the opportunity to take a photo op with Gary Sinise and David Capo & Andy Condrey had a photo op with General Robin Rand. What can we say? Well, we gained 3 new members and our new wing patches were highly sought after. Also, Chance Watson, assistant director of Lakefront Airport, came by our booth and just happened to get his photo taken with Erin.
We are looking forward to Saturday. Our raffle for a free ride on Sonny’s T-6G Texan starts and
our Big Easy Wing hats will be for sale.
